Green Building Tracker

Last updated: April 15, 2015 | Data Tracker

Overview

The Green Buildings Tracker is a comprehensive database tracking floor-space certified by 19 major Green Building standards in 98 countries from 2011 to 2014. The Green Buildings Tracker is derived from interviews with the standard issuing bodies, news articles, conversations with architects, designers and construction firms. Green Buildings Tracker enables clients to focus their precious marketing dollars on dominant geographies today (U.S., China, France, Germany, UK) to emerging regions (e.g. India, Mexico, South Africa). A deep analysis of individual technologies estimates how many points they can influence for different standards, allowing clients to separate hyped technologies (e.g. dynamic windows, building energy management software) from promising technology white spaces (Smart HVAC, Recycled Materials). This tool is capable of generating easily customized graphical and data output.
